Dr. Wasser has spent almost 50 years in higher education as a student, graduate student, postdoctoral researcher and professor. He believes that teaching is a service profession and the learners served deserve an educator’s best efforts. To Dr. Wasser, serving students means being an expert in the disciplines he instructs. The depth and breadth of Dr. Wasser’s knowledge never ceases to impress his students, who universally comment on his enthusiasm, his evident love for the subject material, and for making it graspable for them.
